Painting as Monument
As a disabled artist, I do not paint disability—I paint through it. I work with pareidolia, ambiguity, and material distortion to reflect the reality of living in a body that sees and moves differently. My work investigates where painting intersects with sculpture—whether in figural forms that emerge from fractured surfaces, or landscapes shaped by time and memory. Both employ material tension, pareidolia, and psychological scale to evoke presence.
